The looking for answers thing is always interesting. How do you know? How do you know you have an answer, the right answer?Where is the guarantee? I will tell you.
Making this album has been a great journey. A journey with ups, downs, turns and challenges. Like any project of a certain depth and complexity, there are details and there are changes. There is life that is going on simultaneously. For me there has been a lot of shifting. I have changed the way I sing. I had to re-learn to sing as I had lost a part of my voice and could no longer do what I used to do how I used to do it. In the process I feel I had to learn about myself. Personally I had to see my own value as a songwriter and a singer and possibly something else. Singing is such a personal endeavor that I could not pretend, I had to re-connect, with myself.
Being the solution for me translates into : just let go. Let go of fears. Let go of insecurities. Let yourself shine through. Love yourself enough to be all of who you are.
