When I was accepted at university in my area, a singer could only study classical voice. I wanted to study jazz.
I decided to go another route and proceeded to study privately. I spent many years traveling to different destinations to seek out teachers and mentors in my discipline. I was very fortunate to have
a background in sales and marketing which afforded me the ability to get gigs. Able to apply everything I was learning in the field, things were moving ahead by leaps and bounds. Although very busy working, even when pregnant, even with small children under foot, there was something that was missing for me. I never did get that degree I had originally pursued. So I am doing it now.
Sometimes you just have have to address those bucket list items. Life is for living I always say. Life is also for learning. So off I go on a new adventure.
